The Three M's: Money, Meat, and Mountains

This is my last day in Switzerland....a place that I have probably unjustly quantified into the three M's of money, meat, and mountains. Money is associate with Switzerland of course. For years, rich people and Nazi have store their dirty money in concrete blocks. But it also seeps all the money out of you from decadent purchases of chocolate and uh chocolate. Just to give some perspective, I went to a restaurant near Bahnhofstrasse and asked for water. When I got the bill, it was almost $7 for water! The most abundant resource in the world and it costs as much as a dish in the U.S. WTF.
Next, comes meat. I've never eaten so much meat in my life. Not that I am complaining because its quite delicious....but I don't know how the girls stay so skinny here when each meal here consists of 75% meat and 25% potato or cheese. Salads are taboo and vegetarians wouldn't last a second here.
But alas the mountains are unreal. The Alps are amazing, majestic, and everything in between. My buddy and I drove up to Chur in the Alps last week. On the way there, you could only see little villages nestled between mountains. Next visit to Switzerland will be to Matterhorn!

All in all, it was wonderful to experience Switzerland and I truly enjoyed walking the streets of Basel and Zurich...but you know....maybe summer would be a better to visit next time though.
